Join objects conservator, Helen Ingalls, as she presents a lecture on Eric Fischl’s sculpture, Ten Breaths: Tumbling Woman II. Ms. Ingalls will discuss the artwork’s early history and subject matter, as well as its specialized fabrication process and the significance of its materiality. She will give the audience an inside account of how the piece was brought to the museum and how concerns of preservation and presentation were facilitated by ongoing dialogue between our staff and the artist.
