The WCG Outreach Booth will makes its annual appearance at the National Building Museum’s “Big Build” event on Saturday, October 15, from 10 am to 4 pm. The event is located at 401 F Street NW, Washington DC.

We need volunteers to staff the booth and guide activities for children. The standard activities include a “touch panel” to show the cumulative effects of hand soiling on various materials, and making a “light fade card” for at-home learning.

We typically ask for two volunteers per two-hour shift: 10-12, 12-2, 2-4. Volunteers will be supplied with a light breakfast, lunch, and beverages.
