Talk on Emergency Preparedness at the LOC

On Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at 2:00 pm in the Library of Congress James Madison Memorial Building, Tom Clareson (Senior Consultant for Digital & Preservation Services at LYRASIS) will present the lecture Open Arms: Expanding the Cultural Emergency Preparedness Community.  New projects in the cultural heritage and performing arts communities are prompting a variety of organizations to look at collaborative emergency preparedness in a wider perspective. This presentation presents details on a variety of new initiatives that are working to broaden cooperation in disaster planning and recovery.
