The ballot of candidates is attached and will be voted on at the WCG Business Meeting on May, 5th, 2016. If you would like to vote by absentee ballot, please send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org.

It is the pleasure of the Nominating Committee to post the officer ballot to be voted on at the Guild’s business meeting on May. Ballots sent by email must be received by May 7 (election day); ballots sent by regular mail must be received by May 5, so they can be collected and counted.
New Directors are:
They join continuing Directors Lynn Brostoff and Diana Galante, for a total of seven. The President has asked Lindy Gulick to serve as Director in order to have a full complement of eight.
Justine Posluszny-Bello will serve as was elected Membership Secretary, succeeding Kristin Loudermilk.
Please find attached the ballot for this year’s elections. The membership will be electing officers for the positions of Membership Secretary and four new Directors. Additionally the members will be voting to extend the term of one of the current Directors and on amendments to the Guild’s By-laws.
The Board of Directors of the Washington Conservation Guild is proposing the following changes (highlighted in blue) to its bylaws to reflect recent changes in the Washington DC laws that govern non-profits. A vote to accept the changes will take place at the Annual Business Meeting on May 8, 2014.

The Washington Conservation Guild held it’s Annual Business Meeting and election on Thursday May 2, 2013. The Guild is extremely grateful to all those who agreed to run for office and to the membership who participated by filling out a ballot. The election was extremely close, so rest assured, your participation made a difference to the Guild!
