A Note from the President of the Washington Conservation Guild

A Note from the President of the Washington Conservation Guild

Dear Washington Conservation Guild Members,

Head and shoulders of a smiling female wearing drop earrings and a green shirt.
WCG President Diane Galante

I was so happy to see so many of you at our 3-Ring Circus in January, despite the inclement weather earlier in the day. I always wish we could have an extra hour to catch up with one another at this event, and hope to see many of you at our remaining meetings of this season.

This is long overdue, but I want to thank all of you for coming, and also thank the businesses that supported us during the event. Some of our members have been asking for more information about the people and products they saw at the Ripley Center, and I want to make sure you all have that information. I also would like to highlight our supporters who could not make it due to the weather. They include Aurora Storage; Hartmann Fine Art Conservation Services, Inc.; Hollinger/Metal Edge; Talas; and Variguard. I have included the names and websites of all our sponsors below.

As always, please contact me if you would like to volunteer with WCG, if you would like to recommend or request events for the next season, or if you have any questions or comments. I can be reached at president@washingtonconservationguild.org I look forward to seeing you all at our always impressive Intern Talks on April 5th. Then join us to celebrate the end of the season on May 3rd with a reception, the Membership Business Meeting, and, of course, our raffle!

Sincerely, Diana Galante
