Dr. Joyce Hill Stoner will be giving a lecture covering restoration choices, copies, alterations, light damage and loss to paintings. This should be a fascinating discussion about broad topics that affect conservation decisions for a wide range of objects. Dr. Stoner is known for her long association with the Winterthur art conservation program both as a teacher and as director as well as her prolific talents as an author and advocate for the field of conservation.

Please enter MedChi from Maryland Avenue. It is a brief walk from Baltimore Penn Station. To get there, exit the station and walk two blocks south on Charles Street. Turn right onto Preston Street. Walk one block and turn left onto Maryland Avenue. MedChi is a few buildings down on your right. Parking: 1204 Maryland Avenue, Baltimore, MD, 21201. MARC trains departing Union Station at 3:26, 4:05, 4:20 and 4:22 will arrive in Baltimore at 4:31, 5:00, 5:13 and 5:17. There is a return train to DC at 7:35. The Cultural Center Light Rail station is also nearby.
This event is free to WCG members, $10 for guests & non-members. Memberships are $35 for professionals and $25 for students.
