Thanks to the generous support of the Foundation for Advancement in Conservation (FAIC), the Washington Conservation Guild will carry out an Angels Project at the National Museum of American Jewish Military History.
Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 10am – 4pm
National Museum of American Jewish Military History
1811 R Street NW, Washington, DC 20009
All volunteers are welcome. We will be working on several storage upgrade projects for military uniforms, historic newsletters, and new acquisitions. This is an excellent opportunity to help support preservation efforts at a small institution, collaborate with fellow WCG members, and promote the field of conservation.
Through its collections, archives, and exhibitions, NMAJMH works to document and preserve the contributions of American men and women of the Jewish faith who served in the military. Learn more about the museum at https://nmajmh.org/
Please R.S.V.P. by April 8th with your name, professional level, and specialty (if applicable) to rsvp@washingtonconservationguild.org
Lunch will be provided.
Special thanks to University Products for their assistance with supplies.
