Forge a Silver Ring and Learn Other Metalsmithing Techniques with Artist Michael Brehl

Sunday March 29th, 2020
10AM-5PM
305 Madison Street, Alexandria, VA 22314

Michael Brehl is a teaching artist and has been a practicing silversmith since 1988. At this event, he will guide participants through the process of forging a silver ring from an ingot to the finished product. If time allows, he will also demonstrate other metalsmithing techniques that may help conservators identify marks found on the objects that come across their benches.
