The Washington Conservation Guild’s Emerging Professionals Committee is seeking volunteer committee members for the upcoming season, which starts September 2021 and ends May 2022.
There will also be one mandatory board meeting in the summer of 2021. The committee organizes meetings and opportunities for emerging cultural heritage professionals with a focus on the Washington, DC-Maryland-Virginia area. Past events have included a career/portfolio day, happy hours, and lab tours. This position is open to all emerging cultural heritage professionals in conservation and conservation-related fields. Openings for this position are limited to people in the United States, with a preference for those who will be based in the DC-MD-VA area during the coming season. We are anticipating that at least some of our meetings will be virtual next season.
