Past WCG President Ed McManus is known for his spoons as they are passed around at WCG events. It is no surprise this is one of our most requested events. For anyone who has attended his workshops, demonstrations with Ed are a memorable experience. This particular workshop is the continuation of his previous programming and in this installment will present a comprehensive guide to casting pewter spoons as well as touch on pewter conservation. It is highly recommended for those interested in the intricacies of forging or for anyone who wants to handle the material and learn in the process. Aside from the hands-on workshop, Ed will also have on display several historic examples of pewter forms to share.

The workshop is open to the first 10 WCG members to register.

The cost is $45 for members, or $60 for non-members, and includes all supplies and lunch.

This program would not have been possible without Beth Richwine’s support and steadfast organization. It is important to note that Beth originated this program and it is with great pleasure we can offer it again to members. Also, a special thanks to Randy Cleaver who is once again permitting us to host this workshop at his home in Takoma Park, MD.
