Dear WCG members, friends, and sponsors,

I simply want to say thank you for supporting the Washington Conservation Guild. It was wonderful to see many of you in person again this year! Although 2022 is coming to an end, the WCG season is only half way through. We have a lot of exciting meetings and events scheduled for the new year, starting with a fantastic line up for the 3-Ring Circus being held on January 12th at the Ripley Center of the Smithsonian Institution. I look forward to seeing you there. If you have not done so already, don’t forget to renew your WCG membership for the 2022-2023 season so you can be included in the directory that will be emailed in early 2023.

Did you know that in 2022, WCG started offering sponsorship levels that include membership and that allow you to advertise on our website, social media, and at our meetings? Sponsorship levels are detailed on the attached document and a current list of sponsors can be viewed on the Sponsor Page of the WCG website. I hope you will consider becoming a sponsor by making a tax deductible donation to WCG as part of your seasonal giving. This will allow the Guild to continue its educational programming for local conservation professionals, which includes monthly member meetings, reduced membership fees for emerging professionals (free for the 2022-2023 season!), and subsidized conservation related workshops. Thank you to those who have already donated and become sponsors.

Best Wishes and Happy Holidays!

Rachel Greenberg
