The National Museum of African Art is seeking a highly-skilled, Senior Mount Maker to join our Exhibitions team. The National Museum of African Art (NMAFA) is a leading research and reference center for the visual arts of Africa. Senior Mount Maker is responsible for installing & de-installing NMAFA exhibitions; reviewing design plans for exhibits with curators, designers, conservators, installation coordinators, and contact designers & project managers to make appropriate mount-making & bracketing decisions; and to assess to appropriateness of designs for mount supports vis-a-vis installation issues.

Salary: $94,199 – $122,459 per year

Grade: GS-12
