This full-time, permanent, federal position has a salary range of $47,789 – $69,035 per year at the GS-06 to GS-7 level

Summary:

You will serve as a Museum Technician (History) of NATIONAL MUSEUM of the United States Navy.

Duties:

The duties of this position include the following:

  • At the GS-06 you will perform developmental duties as assigned.
  • At the Full-Performance Level (GS-07) you will perform the below duties:
  • You will assist in the development and implementation of all museum functions including exhibitions, special events, public programs, visitor inquiries, opening and/or closing of museum, visitor demographic analysis, and group visits.
  • You will serve as a personal representative and telephone contact for the museum.
  • You will assist in providing support services for formal official and public functions and ceremonies.
  • You will act as a research assistant to the Director.
