About the Position: 
This is technical library conservation work at the full performance level in the conservation, preservation and restoration of on-line digital exhibitions, library books and related printed matter including special collections, rare books, works of art, documents, photographs for library use. Employees in this class assess the condition, type and age of library books and related materials and determine the appropriate conservation technique. Work is performed under the general supervision of an administrative superior. Light physical effort is required in a laboratory environment with some disagreeable aspects.
