Archival Art Services, located in Old Town Alexandria, VA, is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Showroom / Frame Design Manager. Tim Lowe, our manager of 16+ years, will be retiring this summer, and we are beginning the process of finding the perfect candidate to assume the role.
This is not your ordinary sales job — You’ll be handling amazing original art and designing at the highest level, while working with the best crew of creative experts in the business! You’ll also be working directly with the most significant collectors and museums in the DMV, in a relaxed and friendly environment.
This is a Full-Time position with hours of Tuesday–Saturday, 9:30 – 5:00. Benefits include:

Ideal candidates will possess the following knowledge and skills:
- Highly creative with excellent interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of Art History, artists and techniques
- Knowledge of or personal experience in Studio Art, with broad familiarity of artist materials, printing methods, photography, painting, etc.
- Knowledge of American History, significant historical documents and collections
- Prior professional framing design experience
- Working knowledge of paper and painting conservation methods
