WCG Goes to the Kinetic Sculpture Race!

Please join the Washington Conservation Guild in-person for the final Member Event of the 2023/2024 Season.

Saturday, May 4, 2024

Events start at 8:00 am and run until ~4:45 pm

Location: Meet at the American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM) by 9:15 for the “Blessing of de Feet”

Want to see the sculptures in action? Looking for a fun group to see the race with? Maybe you just want to spend time with other members in a more relaxed atmosphere?
Come along with the WCG, and bring family and friends to Baltimore

As a follow-up to our October Virtual Meeting “Maintaining Amphibious Art Machines”, the WCG is heading to Baltimore to experience the Kinetic Sculpture Race in-person! Bring a blanket and lunch (or grab something from the food trucks at the race) for a picnic lunch at Canton Waterfront Park (11:00 am meet so we can see the sculptures enter the water).
