The Smithsonian Libraries and Archives (SLA) is pleased to announce an opening for a GS-9 Book Conservator. This is a federal position, with promotion potential to the GS-11 level, and is open to current federal employees and the public. The position closes December 16th.

As part of the Preservation Services Department, the conservator will work with a team of three to provide conservation treatment to the bound and unbound SLA special and general collections materials. This position is located at the Book Conservation Lab in Landover, MD. Please see the position description for further details:
