Overview
ArtFit 3D provides an innovative solution for packing, storing, and shipping fine art through our custom Contour Foam Cavity and Brace Packs, created using CNC milling technology. The process begins with an online consultation where we receive a 3D scan of the artwork and collaborate with you to design custom foam inserts that perfectly fit each piece. With the conservator actively engaged in the design and the precision fit delivered by CNC-milled foam from a 3D scan, you have a major leap forward in protection and care.
Tours with Curtis Bateman, IBEW Museum Curator, are available from 5:00–6:00 pm during the WCG reception. The “New Technology in the Service of Cavity, Brace Packing, and Storage of Culture Objects” lecture and Q&A with conservators will take place from 6:00–7:00 pm.
