GFWC is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Founded in 1890, over 60,000 members across the world have impacted countless movements, projects, and programs throughout history. Today, GFWC focuses on tackling issues of food insecurity, vaccine access, and support of survivors of domestic violence.
Please join us in helping to preserve archival materials, decorative and American art, and artifacts related to the early residents of GFWC historic headquarters in Dupont Circle. Help rehouse books and documents, as well as identify materials in need of more detailed conservation treatment.
Please RSVP as soon as possible as space is limited: https://forms.gle/UsyoziTMmsQkb3UA7
Priority will be given to WCG members.
This is a free volunteer opportunity. Food and beverages will be provided.
